JustClock for RubyMine – Automatic Work Time Tracking for Ruby on Rails Devs

JustClock for RubyMine

Automatic Work Time Tracking for RubyMine.

JustClock tracks the hours you spend on Ruby on Rails projects in RubyMine — models, controllers, views, migrations and specs — automatically, without breaking your flow to start or stop a stopwatch.

Time is captured per project and sent in minute-level intervals, so a crash, a long Rails console session or a forgotten timer never means lost billable hours.

Built for Ruby on Rails Teams

  • Tracks time separately for every Rails app, engine or gem in a multi-project workspace
  • Keeps running through long RSpec, Minitest or Cucumber test runs and Rails console sessions
  • Built for Rails freelancers and agencies who need honest, automatic hours for client invoices
  • No impact on Bundler, gemsets or your existing RuboCop and Rails workflows

The same free plugin also works in IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm and PhpStorm — see the full JetBrains family overview.
